Hireall Is the Main Event Supplier for the Amgen Irish Open 2024
The Amgen Irish Open 2024 took place at the Royal County Down Championship Course from September 12th to 15th. With elite golfers and over 70,000 spectators in attendance, the much anticipated event spanned four days. Rasmus Højgaard claimed victory, with Rory McIlroy finishing as runner-up and Matteo Manassero securing third place. The event’s sponsor, Amgen, demonstrated their commitment to international sports, with CEO Bob Bradway personally awarding this year’s trophy.
The build-up for the event began in early July, with tickets selling out weeks in advance and the first deliveries arriving to offices. A global television audience of millions also tuned in, highlighting Northern Ireland as a leading golfing destination.
We at Hireall are proud to have served as the main supplier for the Irish open for the 15th year. Our team supplied everything from furniture for the Championship Village and Hospitality suites to catering equipment, crockery and tableware for on-course dining areas. Every detail was handled with precision and care to ensure a stellar experience for both participants and attendees.
Championship Village
The Championship Village and hospitality areas were designed to offer fans and corporate guests a comfortable experience.
The Championship Village featured garden sets, Regatta bistro sets and picnic benches, creating a relaxed atmosphere. All exhibition stands were fully fitted with furniture, ensuring a polished finish throughout the event. In addition, Andalucia placed direct orders for extra items, including a reception counter, button stools and pods to further enhance the space.
Bean bags added a playful touch for the Kids Zone, ensuring even the youngest guests could enjoy the event.
Ticket Plus
The Ticket Plus area, positioned at the centre of the event, offered the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere. This area housed rustic tables, barrels and picnic benches. These were also featured at the on-course dining areas, providing a casual place where guests could enjoy the variety of food and beverages on offer.
Media Tent
The media tent was home to our white low pod tables and high back dining with Alaska furniture, in addition to our Milano chairs and office furniture. Lockers and picnic benches also featured in this space.
For Aramark in the Media area, Hireall delivered essential equipment including dishwashers, bain maries and tableware to ensure catering operations and service ran smoothly.
Members Tent
In the Members Tent, we supplied traditional mahogany chairs and tables, along with stylish walnut pod tables paired with Milan black stools. For added convenience, lockers were provided and the reception area was furnished with our sleek Zoey stools, creating a comfortable and functional space for members to enjoy.
Caddies – Main Club House
We set up white low pod tables complemented by salt chairs, which added a sleek and cosy aesthetic to the event areas. We also supplied all the necessary office furniture for the cabin offices and rules recorders, totalling approximately 200 pieces. This included Omega tables, office chairs, cabinets and pedestals, ensuring staff and officials had fully-equipped workspaces.
Volunteers/Emergency Services
For the volunteers and emergency services, we provided an array of furnishings, including tables, chairs, Alaska seating and lockers. Additionally, we supplied office furniture and picnic benches, ensuring that all teams had resources.
Greenkeepers
For the greenkeepers, we supplied Chiavari limewash chairs paired with tables, creating the ideal setup for their needs.
Hospitality
In the hospitality area, the main reception featured luxurious Capri Mink armchairs alongside our Aurora white reception stools, offering a welcoming atmosphere for guests as they arrived. Hireall also provided all tableware, glassware, dishwashers and buffet ware.
Amgen Suite
In the Amgen Suite, we designed a stylish environment featuring Flow Black pod tables and cube stools with bamboo tops, complemented by Alaska sofas paired with Kodeta coffee tables. Additionally, Flow low black pod tables with bamboo tops and Ronda chairs provided comfortable seating options, while Volt white stools were placed at charging stations to ensure guests had access to power.
Dubai Duty Free
This area was furnished with white low pod tables accompanied by chameleon white-backed chairs, creating a modern, inviting setting for guests to relax.
Emirates
We provided a mix of high and low walnut pod tables to comfortably seat guests.
The Terrace
We set up plush Capri mink sofas, creating a cosy atmosphere for relaxation. Flow black dining and Flow high tables were paired with cube stools and salt chairs, providing stylish and functional seating for guests to enjoy their meals and drinks in a vibrant outdoor setting.
Green on the 18th
Green on the 18th was furnished with our Bentwood chairs paired with walnut round tables. Flow high black tables with bamboo tops and cube stools provided additional seating options, while Capri green sofas complemented with palm rattan coffee tables created a relaxed lounge area for guests to unwind and enjoy the views.
Decking
Flow white cube tables topped with bamboo were accompanied by matching stools, creating contemporary setting for guests to gather and socialise outdoors.
